I don’t have much more to add, except that American journalism lost its strongest questioner, best pundit and one of its nicest guys today at a time when the country needed him the most. It’s up to the rest of us to carry on Tim Russert’s work of holding politicians accountable and asking tough questions when they are needed.

We were devastated to get this news today. No one was better at their job than Tim Russert. He was brilliant and just such a nice man. I can’t imagine going through this election without his voice.
