Kicking off a new week with a new look

It was a busy weekend of lawn mowing, web redesigning, assisting with a rummage sale and eating pancakes with a large contingency of visiting Finns in my neighborhood. Here are some things I didn’t write about.

Rep. Tom Anzelc issued a blast in the Duluth News-Tribune (click here; scroll down) calling for action on the mitigation of the flood risk at the Canisteo Pit. (Disclaimer: I am Tom’s campaign chair).

The DNT also did a classy profile on Sen. Amy Klobuchar.

Sen. Barack Obama seems to be securing his objectives on the first leg of his overseas tour. Pundits say that he’ll come home and select his running mate in early August.

The House 7B DFL race down in Duluth has solidified. I am thinking of ways to highlight this race and its very interesting dynamic.

And, of course, the ongoing redesign of this page continues. I am open to suggestions about things you’d like to see added to this blog.

  1. Aaron, I’d like to see you install the feature that shows recent comments on your blog. The perfect placement would be rather high in the left hand column, not more than one page scrolldown.

It would help us all see if there is a comment on one of your older posts.

    Just a thought.

  2. Steve — That’s a great idea. I have to figure out how to do that in Blogger, but it’s worth checking. One of my goals is to encourage more comments here.

    Thanks,
    AB
