Brown on the Air: HOLIDAY TRAVEL!

“Between You and Me” on 91.7 KAXE this Saturday morning features calls, music and commentary about travel for the holidays. Many of us will be on the roads, rails or in the air this upcoming week. Host Heidi Holtan will be listening to your stories and sharing some great music on the last Saturday before Christmas.

My commentary will again tap into the spirit of childhood and life, with the blend of humor and wistfulness that (just barely) paid for my iPad last year. A longer version is slated to run in the Sunday paper as my weekly column, so wait here if audio is not your thing.

Tune in from 10 a.m. to noon on 91.7 FM in northern Minnesota or streaming live all over the world at www.kaxe.org. “Between You and Me” and my essays are syndicated through PRX.

  1. If Cravaack brings worthless road projects to us instead of creating an environment where new business and industry can/will come and thrive, we should kick him to the curb. We need more Oberstar “help”, like a hole in our heads. Elite Jim O and his Union good/company bad bologna is played out. Getting Polymet up and running would make up for 350 miles of new roads, with good jobs for 30-50 years. Fight the EPA and DNR to get the final permits, don’t jump in bed with them like Oberstar. Push for new businesses coming here to employ people for years. Aaron, you’ve bought into all politicians are the same…… Lets hope you’re wrong.
