Catch Tower Soudan Historical Society event

range.jpgThe Tower Soudan Historical Society will hold its annual meeting and dinner Tuesday night from 5:30 to 8 p.m.

The speaker this year will be Pam Brunfelt, giving a talk entitled “Why the People of the Iron Range Matter.” Brunfelt is an instructor at Vermilion Community College and well-published author on Iron Range history. She’s also a great speaker and has been a big influence on me as I’ve begun my odd journey of becoming an Iron Range quasi-historical futurist. As one of the leading experts on the Cuyuna Range around Crosby and Ironton, Brunfelt will be a part of the Oct. 19 Great Northern Radio Show there next month.

The event costs $12 and you should RSVP to 218-753-2301 right away if you’re interested in going.
