Tonight from 5-7 p.m. the Great Northern Radio Show will broadcast live from the North Hennepin Community College theater in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. This is our first Twin Cities metro broadcast of the show I started on the Iron Range in the fall of 2011. We’ve done 13 unique programs from different locations around Northern Minnesota. We now have the goal of keeping the show on the road, visiting new places both in our native Northern Minnesota and beyond.
Rush seating will likely be available for those interested in attending, so if you’re in Brooklyn Park please arrive at NHCC before 4:30 p.m.
You can listen to the show on Northern Community Radio in Northern Minnesota at 91.7 KAXE (Grand Rapids and the Iron Range), 90.5 KBXE (Bagley and Bemidji), 89.9 FM (Brainerd and Baxter), 103.9 FM (Ely) and streaming all over the world at www.kaxe.org. You can listen in the Twin Cities on KBEM Jazz 88.5 FM. The show will be released as a podcast and rebroadcast on other public stations in weeks to come.
