You might recall my review of the wonderful new Iron Range-themed cookbook “Come, You Taste” by B.J. Carpenter. I thought the book was a fantastic cultural artifact, historical document and functional cookbook. My wife Christina Brown recently reviewed the book for her site, the Northern Cheapskate, and actually made one of the recipes! (PS: Yum!)

Carpenter will be on the Iron Range this upcoming weekend for book events.

On Friday, Nov. 20, 2015 she will appear from 1-4 p.m. at Sunrise Bakery in Hibbing. On Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015 she’ll appear from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Minnesota Discovery Center’s Artisan Market in Chisholm.
