Today’s Mountain Iron community discussion on the future of the Iron Range, sponsored by Messiah Lutheran Church, was fascinating. I won’t recap it now but sufficed to say I heard some things in this discussion that suggest a bright future for this unusual region, provided enough people work hard to make it happen these next few years. Primarily, the talk today spoke of unifying the disparate factions on the Range and coming together for fiscally solvent schools and cities. A more detailed post will come in a few days.
