Flipping ‘The Odd Couple’ in Duluth

Arts, Entertainment & CultureThe Duluth Playhouse is doing a run of Neil Simon’s famous play “The Odd Couple,” about a mismatched pair of roommates learning to deal with life, change and each other. No big deal, right? Well, the play features lead actors Jody Kujawa and Jason Scorich, alternating the roles of Felix and Oscar each night. In other words, they learned both parts and which version you see depends on the night you go.

They got a boffo review in the Duluth News Tribune. Seeing the play twice would be the only way to get the full effect, and it sounds like the shows are selling out fast.

Scorich, a Mountain Iron guy, is a longtime friend of the blog and fellow Iron Range pop historian.

You can see “The Odd Couple” by Neil Simon at the Duluth Playhouse, 506 W. Michigan St. in Duluth, 7:30 tonight and Saturday, and Feb. 13-15, 2 p.m. Sunday and Feb. 16. Tickets are $25 for adults and $23 for seniors and students. For more information call (218) 733-7555 or see duluthplayhouse.org
