Hear Great Northern Radio Show from Hibbing High School auditorium

It seems like a long time ago. I guess it was. But we did the Great Northern Radio Show from the historic Hibbing High School auditorium on Nov. 17, 2018. It’s the biggest venue we’ve ever played, and easily the most ornate.

We had jazz singer Connie Evingson with Sam Miltich and an all-star jazz band. Also, the Christopher David Hanson Band and our own house band Katie and the All Seasons.

This was the same hall where Bob Dylan played, true, but also the Boston Pops and some of the greatest touring acts of the early 20th Century. Until the construction of the Guthrie in Minneapolis it was considered the premiere theater in the state of Minnesota.

And we had a great time. The show turned out well. I think we’re getting better. I’m writing tighter. I’m getting more comfortable on stage. And our team is doing great things technically, musically and theatrically. Listen now if you haven’t heard us lately.

We’ll be doing another show Feb. 9 at the Franklin Arts Center in Brainerd featuring the Yellow-Bellied Sapsuckers. More information on that show to come.
