You can now hear the latest podcast for the Great Northern Radio Show from our April 13 broadcast at the Chief Theater in Bemidji, Minnesota.

It was the 30th variety show I’ve written, produced and hosted for Northern Community Radio, our fifth from the “First City on the Mississippi River.” It was the first time I’ve ever tried to eat cheese on the radio. I’m not sure how it all sounded, but it felt pretty good and people seemed to like it.

Our next show will be June 22 at the Reif Center in Grand Rapids featuring Minnesota musician Sarah Morris and her band. Tickets are already available.

Meantime, here are a few shots from the April 13 show in Bemidji:

One of our longtime cast members C.J. Anderson had been complaining of not getting the choice roles in recent shows. So, I cast him as God. Accordingly, he took radio acting to the next level. (PHOTO: Grant Frashier)
