MinnesotaBrown also does real things sometimes

Meet the Author

This blog doesn’t pay the bills. What it does, however, is allow me to build support for my professional work as a teacher, writer, speaker and radio producer.

I deliver keynote speeches, lectures and specialized presentations related to topics like the Iron Range, Minnesota politics and history, writing, blogging and the media. By day I teach college public speaking so I understand that the last thing an organization wants for its event is a boring speaker who doesn’t get why the audience is there in the first place. I use humor, stories and a consistent narrative drive to turn 20 minutes to an hour into a memorable part of your convention, lunch break, lecture series or college occasion. I work to customize every presentation to fit your needs and the theme of your event. Speaking fees are related to your location, event time, and whether you are nonprofit, educational or commercial. Rates can be negotiated to fit your budget.
