‘Overburden’ mentioned in Star Tribune book column

My book “Overburden: Modern Life on the Iron Range” was mentioned in Laurie Hertzel’s book column in the Star Tribune this morning. It’s wasn’t exactly a review (Summary: “This book exists”) but they spelled my name right so who’s complaining?

I’ll be headed back to the Twin Cities June 4-5 for appearances in Roseville and St. Paul. You can get signed copies at independent book stores all over the Iron Range and at the Duluth Barnes and Noble. Barnes and Noble stores all over the state are sporadically stocking the book so you can check in your town. And you can also buy the book online at BN.com and Amazon.

  1. yeah, sorry…. but i’m glad i spelled your name right.

good luck with the readings, and congratulations on your award.

  2. Thanks, Laurie … Like I said, no complaints! I appreciate any mention and remain a big fan of your book section. As you can see I enjoy spinning the lighter side of my debut book tour. 🙂
