Polls open in House 5B special DFL primary

Ballots are being cast now in the DFL primary for the House District 5B Special Election. The polls opened at 7 a.m. and will close at 8 p.m. If you live in 5B and want to vote in this primary you can find your polling place here and read a commentary written by each candidate for this blog here. My final analysis of the race is here.

The general election featuring the DFL nominee, Republican Paul Jacobson and Independent Cynthia Kafut Hagen will be Feb. 15.

I’ll be reporting results and observations tonight from MinnesotaBrown world headquarters in an unnamed local woodland township settled by radical Finnish outcasts in 1907.

  1. Yeah, because Wanda Moeller…a, what? 5-year Iron Range resident (can’t count Rapids as the Range) knows soooooooooooooooooooooooo much about the needs of the Range. PUH-LEEZE!! Give me a lifer and I’ll give his/her words a listen. The fact that she has any outlet for her opinions at all is just scary and dangerous.

Wish I could post this comment on the HibTrib website, but alas, I refuse to pay for it. Oh, and she’d never let it in anyway.
