A week of Bob Dylan celebration in northern Minnesota

Duluth’s Dylan Fest continues this week, and Dylan Days in Hibbing kicks off Thursday. The Playlist on WDSE previewed our Range event on its last episode:

I’ve been an organizer and press rep with Dylan Days since 2001, participating in its growth from a small acknowledgement of the Iron Range’s most famous artist to a city-wide celebration that has kept its small town spirit and Range quirkiness. I’ve lost a bit of steam this year as I’ve been expanding my work on the Great Northern Radio Show, but others have ably stepped up to assist. I’ll still be emceeing the Dylan Days symposium/literary showcase Friday at 3 p.m. at the Hibbing Memorial Building Little Theater.

You can find the whole schedule here. I’ll share more info on Dylan Days later this week.
