The Uptake covered the debate last night in Brainerd between Jeff Anderson, Tarryl Clark and Rick Nolan. This was likely the last debate before next week’s DFL primary in Minnesota’s 8th Congressional District and one of the best chances for undecided voters to see fresh video on the three candidates next to each other.
I’ve been covering this race for … sigh … 18 months? I interviewed the three candidates some time ago (see links in first paragraph) and have seen a number of debates, forums and speeches by the candidates. For those of us who have done this, precious little has changed. I do think, however, that primary election night and the subsequent general election campaign against Rep. Chip Cravaack (R-MN8) will be quite interesting.
I apologize to those who feel a bit overwhelmed by the amount of political coverage these last few weeks. It is the prevailing wind of the time, but not a permanent condition.
UPDATE: I see there is a problem with the video. I am hoping the Uptake is going to fix the embedded portion, but meantime here is the direct link to the Uptake debate footage.
