The Iron Range Original Music Association is an excellent example of a small grassroots effort that makes a big difference in the quality of life in a place like ours. This loose band of songwriters has helped cultivate a number of local bands that produce some true musical art and good times.

The Iron Range Original Music Association (I.R.O.M.A.) proudly announces its first BIG multi-band showcase of 2013. On Saturday April 6th at Mac’s Bar in Mt. Iron MN beginning at 6 pm, SEVEN local bands will unite to perform seven hours of all ORIGINAL music homegrown right here on the Iron Range. Included in this exciting line-up are the venerable Mark Henderson, Northern MN favorites The Iron Range Outlaw Brigade, newly reunited 4 Horse Johnson, newcomers No Apology, and THREE upper Midwest-touring acts including Lost Children, Slamming Doors, and Mellowdrama. This event is free and open to the public, and amateur photographers and videographers are encouraged to attend. Merchandise from both IROMA and the bands will be available at the show.
