Because it’s Friday and because I’ve been so dang grumpy lately, here are the students and staff of Tower-Soudan Elementary doing a music video for “Happy” by Pharrell Williams:
Have you heard this song before? Yes. Has this kind of video been done before? Yes. But I still share and recommend this work of art as anthropological evidence of “early 21st Century Iron Range dancing.” Also, unicycles.
The video was created by Sydney Swanson and the teachers, students and staff at Tower Soudan Elementary School. It’s been all over the Iron Range social media sphere, as it should be.
Happy weekend! Have some fun! Dance with the Eagles, my friends.

Delightful ! Thanks, Aaron.
Great timing Aaron! Aside from the usual aggravating downer issues daily blasting us from our media, it’s that time of year again with busy holidays behind us and spring greening and balmy temps still a few long months away. I think a lot of us feel at least a bit grumpy. The bright side is that daylight is noticeably longer every day.
Ok, most Iron Rangers may not have dancing moves down but the enthusiasm and fun in the video made me smile.
Thanks Minnesota Brown, for putting us “in the pink”! Fun! Now, where’s my unicycle…..
Yep, nothing says “happy” and “T-S” quite like those unicycles!!
