They say it’s gonna snow hard.

It ain’t gonna snow hard. You know how I know? The deer ain’t movin.’ Them deer know when a blizzard is comin.’ You see ‘em movin’ all over hell an’ back.

It ain’t gonna snow hard.

You remember that guy from the garage? The one who fell off the cherry picker? Lives in Bovey. You know him.

Yeah, that’s the one.

He’s in a wheelchair now, and he told me it ain’t gonna snow. You know why?

His legs don’t hurt.

No, he ain’t paralyzed. His legs are just messed up. Legs always hurt when the big snow comes. Ya, it’s like that.

It ain’t gonna snow hard.

Oh, it’ll snow. Three inches maybe. A little wind. Nothing special. Guy on the weather says a foot of blowing snow.

Them guys are excitable. First storm of the season they always overshoot. Tryin’ to win some award.

No, you don’t need to watch the weather. Just watch the animals. If there was some big snow comin’ they’d be up to something. They’d be actin’ up.

I ain’t seen an animal, couple days now. Just a bunch of birds flying east.

It ain’t gonna snow hard.

well if its the deer, then they were DEFINITELY moving the end of the week. my husband saw deer after deer dead along the road wens and thurs… i even saw more than average on my route to virginia…

  2. Apparently the DOT was not ready for a late start to winter and didn’t believe the forecast either. The snow ended Saturday morning. It’s now Monday afternoon and Hwy 37 is still snow and ice covered, rutty, and slippery. The county roads, heck even Hibning, are plowed better. The tow truck drivers are having their black Friday rarly MN. Six more inches are predicted starting tomorrow.
