Great Northern Radio Show at Hibbing HS auditorium

I’m spinning headlong into an intense couple of months of work projects. I’m teaching full time and continue working on my book. Now I have something new to announce: An exciting Nov. 17 Great Northern Radio Show broadcast at the Hibbing High School auditorium.

We’ve played Hibbing a couple times, but never this ornate 1,800-seat historic venue. It’s easily the biggest hall we’ve ever tried to fill, which is why I’m practically begging you to come see the show.

Connie Evingson

Fortunately, it’s a good one. We’ve got jazz singer Connie Evingson, a Hibbing native, playing with Sam Miltich and an all star Minnesota jazz band. Then we’ve got the Christopher David Hanson band, a tight Iron Range rock band known for strong original songwriting. All that and Katie Houg and our house band. Great music.

As usual we’ll broadcast live on Northern Community Radio with replays to follow. The show will be trying some new things next year. I’ll be experimenting with a new faster-paced format in this program.

You can reserve your ticket here. More information follows:
