The topic for Saturday morning’s edition of “Between You and Me” is beer. What more needs to be said? I will be defending cheap, accessible beer sold in 30 packs against an army of microbrew radicals. If I don’t make it, pour a can of Busch Light on my grave every year. And no, you may not pass it through your kidneys first.
“Between You and Me” is a call-in and music show that features the voices of northern Minnesota. Tune in between 10 a.m. and noon on 91.7 FM locally or streaming online at www.kaxe.org. You generally hear my essay in the first half hour or so.

Does Busch Light really taste much different after someone passes it through their kidneys?
The famous Chicago columnist, Mike Royko (RIP), used to say that all beer tasted like it had been brewed through a horse.
