Last Saturday, Dec. 14, we broadcast our winter/holiday edition of the Great Northern Radio Show live from the Fosston Library Arts Center in Fosston, Minnesota. The show featured Reina del Cid and the Cidizens, Katie Wig, and several talented voice actors and guests from the surrounding community. Now that it’s done, I can officially say that it went very well.
It was a frigid night out on the edge of the prairie, and we were competing against a very important funeral in town (not a joke; an actual working problem we had to deal with). Still, we got an excellent audience in the small hall and the material seemed to land better than we could have expected. Lots of laughs. Great music.
If you missed it, fear not. You can hear the rebroadcast of the Fosston Great Northern Radio Show this Sunday, Dec. 22 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Northern Community Radio. http://www.kaxe.org/programs/gnrs.aspx“>The show is also available as a podcast.
