Brown on the Air: Hitchhiking

My essay for Saturday’s “Between You and Me” on 91.7 KAXE will detail hitchhiking, specifically the stories my dad told me about hitching from northern Minnesota to Washington state back in the 1970s. Have you every hitchhiked? Take part in the show; after all, this program is all about listener participation.

This week is special in that I will be reading my essay LIVE in the studio. I’m reorienting myself with live radio since I’ll be guest hosting that very program next Saturday on Aug. 16 with a show about “The Future.”

You can hear the show Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon on 91.7 FM in northern Minnesota or streaming online at www.kaxe.org. My bit usually runs around 10:30, but past performance is not indicative of future results.
