Do I have laundry stories? Well, do I have clothes? Do I have access to staining agents? Indeed I do, and I just cold deliver this week, and then I fold and put away like mad. The important thing here is that I have developed a theme applied throughout my essay that extends in significance beyond the individual anecdotes. This theme is largely unoriginal, but filtered through my unique voice and sense of place I have purchased 7 more days of quasi-relevance on a credit card I will never pay off. It’s a little like doing the laundry. I did the laundry.
