This Saturday on KAXE‘s “Between You and Me” the topic is “Brag About Minnesota.” The inspiration was this Andrew Gauthier Buzzfeed piece, “38 Things Minnesotans are Too Nice to Brag About.” My essay for the radio has also been adapted into my Sunday column for the Hibbing Daily Tribune, but you might enjoy the audio version a little more.
Tops on the Buzzfeed list? Bob Dylan, seen above with bandmates Monte Edwardson and LeRoy Hoikkala in the 1958 first paid gig of The Golden Chords on the stage of the Hibbing Memorial Building Little Theater. (Dylan Days 2013 is coming up soon, by the way).
